Introduction
For this project, my client was the Humber Screening Service. There were 2 factors of the service that I have been working on, which are the screening process, and the HumberGuardian app. The reason is to understand how these factors have been helping Humber's visitors during the pandemic access the institution in the safest way possible.
----------
The Screening Service
Meeting the students at the main entrance will be the screening service where they will be greeted by the Humber guards. Students are asked to provide their QR codes of both their proof of vaccinations and their assessments. When both of the codes have been reviewed by the guard, then the students would be allowed to go further inside the building.

The proof of vaccination is a must and visitors won't be allowed to go inside if they haven't at least received their second dose.

The assessments can be done on the spot when asked by the guards. However, doing the questionnaires on the spot would mean holding the other students back from entering, which can be inconvenient for everyone.
----------
The HumberGuardian App
This is the app created by the institution. The purpose of this app is to allow students to upload their proof of vaccinations as well as complete assessments regarding their current health conditions. The app then will provide a QR code based on their answers and that code will act as their key to enter inside the college.

Steps that I have gone through...
Break down and analyze the service -> Create a draft of the service blueprint -> Site visit -> Interview -> Shadowing -> Refine the draft -> Co-creation workshop -> Create solutions -> Usability testing

Summary
The Humber Screening Service Project provided me with the opportunity to actively engage in addressing the challenges faced by users. While the project presented its share of difficulties, it also instilled in me a sense of responsibility to contribute to solving issues that could be life-threatening for others. The challenging nature of the project heightened my commitment to making a positive impact, and being part of the solution to critical problems added a profound sense of purpose to my work.
