For this project, I and four of my other team members got together in order to study more about the needs of AC's customers. AC has got an amazing app that allows its customers to book flight tickets. Our goal for the project was to be able to design an app that can aid users in booking their stays for holidays.

Our Goal
Our project goal is to create and develop a mobile app for Air Canada Vacations’ customers that will bring value and guide them throughout their journey with ACV. A large part of this project is to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for ACV users in which the mobile experience matches all other touchpoint channels users may encounter.
We want to help ACV discover what their customers need and want for the mobile app. We also hope our final outcomes address the main goal of ACV which is to increase customer growth on mobile.

Justification For Our Choices
We tried to reflect Air Canada's overall simplistic branding in our final screens. Reflecting most of Air Canada's current branding also ensures users have a smooth transition to the new digital mobile space we are creating for ACV (a key goal), especially for current users who are already familiar with the desktop experience of ACV. Most of the interfaces designed are very minimal and this is done purposefully in order to ensure we're designing for all types of users and it creates a more efficient experience.
In addition, we enhanced the UI of the app by changing most of the icons that are currently on the website into more modernized icons so that the users can see the big transformation from the website to the mobile app.

Summary
The ACV Project proved to be a highly enlightening experience for expanding my design expertise. It was both captivating and enjoyable to delve into a new field of work. Engaging in projects like this as a team not only enhanced my ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues but also broadened my knowledge by gaining insights into their perspectives and ideas. This experience not only enriched my understanding of design principles but also fostered improved teamwork and cooperative skills in a collaborative environment.
